facilities, based on a survey of over 5,000 moderators and researchers worldwide.
The 2010 edition provides user ratings of the quality of facilities
visited in 2009.
- The survey contains listings and ratings for over 800 facilities in
the US, Canada, Latin America, United Kingdom, Europe, Middle East, Asia, Australia, Africa and
British West Indies.
- Facility listings include the following information:
- Name and address
- Telephone and fax numbers
- E-mail address and/or website
- Names of primary contact people
- Dates when the business was established, moved to its present
location and was most recently remodeled
- The number of focus group rooms and the capacity of the
conference rooms and the viewing rooms
- Presence or absence of a special room for one-on-one
interviewing with viewing by clients
- Whether in-house recruiting capabilities are provided
- Special audiences available
- Availability of a large room suitable for mock juries or audience
studies
- Respondent Internet access, including speed of the connection
- Description of the location
- Distance from the nearest airport
- Services offered
- Nearby hotels and their telephone numbers
- Whether video and/or web streaming conferencing is available for
remote viewing of focus groups, and the name of the service used
- Internet capabilities, including whether usability testing is offered
- Facilities are rated on the quality of each of the
following, using a scale from 1 to 99:
- Recruiting
- Personnel and the service they provide
- The physical facility, including conference and viewing
rooms
- Location
- Food service
- Value
- And an overall score, a weighted average of the above 6
ratings
